NOTICE OF ZONING BOARD OF APPEALS HEARING

 

KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS that on the 26th day of August 2021 at 6:30 p.m., the ZONING BOARD OF APPEALS for the Village of New Milford, Illinois, shall convene at the Village Hall, 6771 11th Street, Rockford, IL 61109 to consider the following described zoning matters:

  1. A Text Amendment under Section 21-44(2) CG Commercial General District of the Code of Ordinances for the Village of New Milford to allow a cigar lounge.
  2. A request for a Special Use Permit under Section 21-44(c) of the Code of Ordinances for the Village of New Milford to allow a cigar lounge for the property commonly known as 6973 11th Street, Unit #8, Rockford, Illinois (Part of PIN: 15-24-355-011), subject to restrictions set for by the Village of New Milford under the Special Use Permit.
  3. A request for a Variance under the Code of Ordinances for the Village of New Milford, Illinois Section 21-59 to Section 21-35(4)(c) R1 One-Family Residential District to allow a seven-foot (7 ) rear yard setback instead of a thirty foot (30 ) setback for the property commonly known as 503 Meeker Drive, Rockford, Illinois (PIN: 15-25-285-015).

Members of the public are invited to attend this public hearing, at which time an opportunity will be given to address the members of the Zoning Board of Appeals.
