ORDINANCE NO. 2021-1 APPROPRIATION ORDINANCE

 

An Ordinance appropriating for all corporate purposes for the Village of New Milford, Illinois, for the fiscal year commencing on the 1st day of June 2021 and ending on the 31st day of May 2022.

NOW, WHEREFORE, be it ordained by the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of New Milford, Illinois, as follows:

SECTION ONE: The amounts herein set forth, or so much thereof as may be authorized by law, and as may be needed or deemed necessary to defray all expenses and liabilities of the Village of New Milford, be and the same are hereby appropriated for the corporate purposes of the Village of New Milford, Illinois, as hereinafter specified for the fiscal year commencing on the 1st day of June 2021, and ending on the 31st day of May 2022.

SECTION TWO: The appropriations herein made for any purpose shall be regarded as the maximum amounts to be expended under the respective appropriation accounts and shall not be construed as a commitment, agreement, obligation, or liability of the Village of New Milford, and such appropriation is subject to further approval as to the expenditure thereof by the Village Board of Trustees.

SECTION THREE: The amounts appropriated for each object and purpose shall be as follows:

SECTION FOUR: If any section, subdivision, or sentence of this Ordinance shall, for any reason, be held invalid or deemed to be unconstitutional, such decision shall not affect the validity of the remaining portion of this Ordinance.

SECTION FIVE: A certified copy of this Ordinance shall be filed with the County Clerk of the County of Winnebago within thirty (30) days after its adoption.

SECTION SIX: This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect after its approval, passage, and publication as provided by law.
